The London Palladium

NODA Centenary Celebrations

During 1998 Young EODS were chosen to represent the South East of England at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association's Centenary Celebrations in London - a huge honour and a great opportunity for the group to showcase their talent at the London Palladium.

Having rehearsed during the early part of the year for their Eight Minutes of Fame, Young EODS performed three numbers from The Boyfriend - the title song, Fancy Forgetting and The Riviera - at the London Palladium in May 1999.

This experience gave all involved the "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to perform in London's West End, alongside ten other youth groups chosen from all over the country. They were consummate professionals, and made us all extremely proud to be associated with Young EODS.

A final thank you to the Hotchkiss Group - without whom we would not have been able to costume the event. Their support and encouragement enabled us to perform to the best of our ability - and look superb!
